 Yamaha has arrived. If you haven't been in since the Yamaha products have arrived be sure to stop in again. The show room is full with all the new Yamaha bikes, wave runner's, atv's and more. Of course a great selection of Victory motorcycles and Polaris products are on hand as well. Our Power Up with Yamaha flyer was just delivered to Canada Post for distribution - watch for your copy - generators starting at $899.
We're excited! | This month it is expected the new sign will be installed on the building and we're moving forward. Recently we did a swap meet in Fort Erie, handed out a ton of brochures and met a lot of interesting people. We also had our Victory Motorcycle Tour.
June 17th to 19th is our Open House and Yamaha Bike Tour - What kind of Yamaha are you? Thursday the 17th, is your chance to come out and see all that we have to offer in products, meet our staff, enjoy some food and more. On Friday and Saturday, we will be offering Yamaha test-rides from 9am - 4pm. Lots of bikes to try - try them all. You can even try the Yamaha scooters that just arrived - our marketing coordinator is excited about those. Of course you'll need to be dressed in the appropriate gear, sign our waiver and have a valid motorcycle license.
The event closes with a bbq at the Welland Motorcycle Track on Saturday night - ask for your free ticket and come out and join us. You can register for the Open House by clicking here. By registering you let us know how many to expect, it does not reserve a ride time.
On June 12th we are taking part in the Port Cares - Ride for Charity. And of course we'll be at the Canadian Biker Build-Off in July. It's all so exciting.
We've also just recently become a NorthTrail Trailer dealer for hauling those waverunner's around. Things are a changin'!
So come on out, pay us a visit, see all the changes - and don't forget we service it all!

Spring has sprung and with it the ATVer’s and motorcyler’s are out in full force. Each day brings new people into Port PowerSports to check out the Polaris ATVs and Victory bikes. I am having a ton of fun meeting everyone and showing off our new product lines. And now the fun is really going to start!
I am pleased to finally announce that Port PowerSports is NOW a full-line Yamaha dealer. Adding Yamah bikes, sleds, atvs, waverunners, boats and motors to an already superb selection of Polaris and Victory products. Like I said. Now the fun really begins!
This month is an exciting month with the Victory Tour Truck arriving on April 16th & 17th and our attendance at the Quad Expo at the Caledon Fairgrounds April 24th.
April 16th & 17th is an exciting couple days for us. The Victory Tour Truck is arriving loaded with all 15 Victory models for you to test-drive and check out for your riding fun. The two-day event promises lots of fun, food and prizes as well as the opportunity to test-drive the models. Click here to register today!

The store transition is almost complete, the signs will be up soon and now to make room for the Yamaha line as well. We’ve also been clearing our used cars, making room for the trucks and SUVs we will be stocking for your towing pleasure. At the moment, you won’t find better pricing than on our selection of used vehicles. Make sure you check them out.
And finally – our service department is up and running full tilt! We have fully-qualified GM & Saturn-trained technicians, plus new small engine technicians to service any vehicle. Of course, we still offer a free wash on whatever vehicle you bring in to us and there’s no appointment necessary. Tell your friends – if our store is open the parts and service department are open. Bring your car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, ATV, sled, watercraft – you name it. We service it!
And, within the next week or so – our brand new – interactive website will be launched. You’ll be able to find your parts, order your products, see what’s happening when and where – all on the web. You’ll love it.
So – as you can see we’re having fun! We’re building the business! We’re bringing in more products and services for your vehicular and leisure requirements! Drop in, say hello and get to know us all over again.

Renovations Begin
Well - a little over a month into our new venture, I'm watching the ATV's come and go. The ATVs are selling faster than I anticipated - great news for me! I was a little shocked at the love for the Polaris brand. And I'm telling you now, if you like performance in a snowmobile - you have to check out the Polaris RUSH. The ads say - "Feel the Rush" and you will!
This week was particularly exciting for two reasons:
1. The walls came down and the renovations are underway. We have to make the space in the showroom to properly display all the neat toys Victory and Polaris have to offer.
2. The 2010 Victory Motorcycles arrived this week as well - including 3 of the all-new Cross Country touring bikes. I can hardly wait for summer now!
I can certainly say, that I am excited about our new brands. And no, I haven't forgotten about the promise of yet another big-name manufacturer to be added to the line - that announcement is coming soon. So stay tuned to the website and for the fastest news - join our mailing list for monthly updates and special offers.
The Tech-Net franchise is proving powerful with all they have to offer in no-payment, no interest for 6 months, a free oil, lube and filter and so much more. We've added new small-engine technicians to complement our existing GM and Saturn trained tech's. Plus we welcome a new staff member to the team to manage our parts, accessories and garment sales. Things change fast at Port PowerSports.
We've had the pleasure of meeting so many new people over the past month or so - all coming in to hear the news and see the changes. I've also had the pleasure of attending Quad Niagara's monthly meeting to learn more about the ATV club and their plans and challenges. Like I said before, I like to be involved in the community and look forward to meeting all of you. Introducing Port PowerSports
I bet for all those that know me, this is the last thing you would expect - a blog! But again, for those that know me, you also are well aware of my commitment to the community. This new venture in Port PowerSports will not only serve to make me a living, but to keep you, my loyal customers up-to-date on all the happenings in the world of powersports. As much as the site is here to promote the products I offer for sale, it is also here to be an interactive tool for your excitement, participation and knowledge of what's happening where, when, and by who.
I hope that you will participate in our facebook fan page, follow our tweets and most importantly send us your events, photos and updates. I want to be as much involved in the community as I can be and I'm sure, you'll see me and my staff at many, many events.
It's been a long time since I've been to a Friday the 13th gathering in Dover, but you can bet your boots I'll be there in 2010. Watch for our presence at the biker build-offs, and ATV and snowmobile events as well. Our transition from a GM dealer to a powersports dealer is fast becoming quite a lot of fun and excitement for me and my staff. It will be strange not being a major manufacturer car dealer as this has been part of my life for over 20 years and in my family all of my life - but - here opens a new set of doors with new products and opportunities. I will be starting 2010 off with a bang.
Port PowerSports is pleased to be Niagara Region's only full-line Victory / Polaris dealer. With a full complement of motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, electric vehicles and snowmobiles. Heck, I can hardly wait for the snow.
And keep checking in for a new announcement more than likely by the beginning of January regarding yet another major OEM set of products that we will be selling. We know what it is, unfortunately we can't say until the paperwork is signed - but you will be as excited as I am once you hear about it.
I look forward to everyone stopping in to see the transformations as they take place. This week you will start to see the first of the renovations and new product arrive. While I am still a GM dealer until the end of this month, you will see the new GM vehicles disappear in January. But in the meantime, if you need a new vehicle, visit us to see what we can offer. And don't worry, we have also arranged to be an AUTO-TECH Automotive Professional franchise. So along with continuing to service all makes and models of vehicles, we will also now be servicing all the toys. It's an exciting time - join the excitement!
