William (Bill) McGee
President
Growing up around his father's car dealership in the small town of Goderich, Ontario, Bill McGee has found his true place in Port Colborne. Like Goderich, Port Colborne is a small, lakeshore town. Where everyone knows everyone else, where loyalty matters, and where service and customer satisfaction is everything. Bill McGee feels at home.
Having worked in the car industry all his life, Bill started a used car lot on his own in Burlington, ON. However, he wanted a major franchise dealership. As years progressed he found himself owning the PassPort Dealership in St. Catharines, ON which grew to be one of the hottest new franchises of Saturn, Saab, Isuzu. Bill grew Saturn to a major player in the Niagara Region. Saturn - a brand well known for its family atmosphere, up-front pricing, and no haggle, no hassle, no fear policy. Bill was also quite the community sponsor, building 12 playgrounds throughout Niagara Region, sponsoring local events and charities and much more.
Then as the local Pontiac dealer in Port Colborne, Bill promised to bring the same kind of "Selection, Simplicity and Satisfaction" to his customers until the unfortunate time when General Motors felt it necessary to cancel the franchise agreements of over 300 GM dealers in Canada.
Bill was forced to find new products and services to offer and has done so in Port PowerSports. He is excited to continue serving the community in a new way.
On a personal note, when not at the dealership, Bill can be found at horse shows throughout Ontario with his son Daniel, showing Daniel's hunter and jumper horses. His farm is home to 15 horses all lovingly-cared for and trained to excel in the show world. Truly, a country-boy. And this, the reason for his involvement in many equine events with Port PowerSports.

Duke Hannah
Wholesale Division
Duke has been in the car industry all his life it would seem. He has known Bill McGee for over 20 years working for Bill in various capacities over the past 10 years. Now heading up the Wholesale Division, Duke maintains a fresh inventory at great prices for us to pass on to our customers.
Duke has three children, Robin, Jacalyn and Tommy. In his spare time Duke enjoys a game of golf and helping the children with their horse farm. |
Paul Bee
Service Manager
Paul knows his way around cars and trucks, having worked in the auto industry since the age of 15. He's an experienced mechanic, and has also worked selling them. Paul has been with Bill McGee for nearly 30 years starting at Bill's original used car lot in Burlington. Now as Service Manager at Port PowerSports, Paul will give you the "Selection, Simplicity & Satisfaction" experience that Bill McGee is known for.
Paul has one daughter in her first year of University. In his spare time he enjoys riding his motorcycle, working with computers, fishing and of course – cars. |  |
Karen Reid
Secretary/Treasurer
Karen brings 23 years of automotive experience to our dealership.
Throughout those years she has worked in all departments of a dealership and has also earned her CGA Certificate, making her a valuable and integral part of the operation. Karen shares in Bill's philosophy of Customer Satisfaction, and our "Selection, Simplicity and Satisfaction" commitment.
Free time? None. With two teenaged daughters that are active in Kick Boxing, Skating and School. She supports the community involving her children's activities and therefore is constantly on the go. |  |
Roy Sharp
Sales and Business Office
Roy brings over 24 years of automotive experience to Port PowerSports. First encountering what cars were all about by working with his father over the years buying, refurbishing and selling used cars.
Roy first met Bill McGee in 1991 when he starting doing work for him at Bill's Passport Dealership in St. Catharines and then continued working with Bill when he opened his Saturn of St. Catharines dealership . At that time Roy was in the Automotive Protection industry ensuring customers knew the benefits of rust-proofing, Paint and Fabric protection for their new or used vehicle. Now working for Bill McGee in sales and in the business office, Roy believes that customer satisfaction is the number one priority. |  |
Shelley Scovil
Service Coordinator
A friendly voice to book your service appointments and voice your concerns with – although we hope this is few and far between. Shelley has worked for Bill McGee for several years and is enjoying her new position at Port PowerSports.
In her spare time, Shelley enjoys watching Nascar races, movies and as far as sports goes – she loves golf, baseball and volleyball. |  |
Debi Katsmar
Marketing & Communications Manager
Debi brings 25 years of marketing expertise to Port PowerSports creating all the print and radio ads, keeping the website up-to-date and of course maintaining active social networks on both facebook and twitter for the company. Working from her home office, she can be reached at 905-684-6030 or by email at news@portpowersports.com. She's seldom in the store. Contact her for all advertising, promotions and donation requests.
An avid horse-enthusiast, Debi is at home with the 1-horsepower type more so, and can often be seen riding in parades, at demonstrations or taking her riding students to horse shows. She is also the publisher of Equine Niagara News, a local on-line magazine, and operates a marketing company specializing in email marketing and graphic design.
